Haverford sophomore outfielder Ethan Lee-Tyson has been named the Centennial Conference Player of the Week, the conference office announced in a release on Monday afternoon. Lee-Tyson takes the award after an outstanding 4-1 week that solidified a trip to the postseason for the Fords.

Lee-Tyson hit .476 on the week as the Fords qualified for the Centennial Conference playoffs for the 10th straight season. The Weston, Conn. product had 10 hits in 21 at-bats with 10 runs scored on the week. Lee-Tyson had home runs in wins against Swarthmore and Gettysburg and drove in eight runs on the week to go along with two stolen bases. He posted a 1.450 OPS in five games.

Lee-Tyson has been one of the top performers in the Centennial Conference all season. In  conference games, he ranks first in runs and hits and second in home runs, RBI, stolen bases, on-base percentage and slugging percentage. His .408 batting average in conference games is third amongst all qualifiers.

Junior Timmy Pilrun of the Muhlenberg baseball team was named Centennial Conference pitcher of the week.

Pilrun pitched a complete-game five-hitter in the Mules' 3-1 win at Ursinus. He walked two and struck out seven against a Bear lineup that leads the CC with a .319 team batting average. Pilrun retired 16 of the final 20 hitters he faced in tossing his second consecutive complete game.

The southpaw finished the season with a record of 3-2 and a 4.32 ERA in seven starts. Over his final three starts, Pilrun pitched to a 2.63 ERA and held opponents to a .215 batting average.

Pilrun will enter his senior season with a career record of 8-5.
