Complete All-America team

Franklin & Marshall field hockey's Erin Coverdale and Annie Horsley were named to the Longstreth/NFHCA Division III All-America Team and Synapse Sports All-America Team this week. Coverdale received First Team distinction on each list and Horsley was named to the Third Team for both squads. The honors make the duo the 32^nd and 33^rd players in program history to earn All-America status, and marks the seventh consecutive season that the Diplomats had at least one player named All-American.

Coverdale (Lewes, Del. / Cape Henlopen) earned her fifth postseason distinction after being named Regional Player of the Year for the South Region, All-Region First Team, the Centennial Conference's (CC) Offensive Player of the Year, while being one of three unanimous All-CC First Team selections. Coverdale led the team in points (39), goals (16), and assists (7). The sophomore forward tallied one goal and two assists during F&M's run to the Final Four in the NCAA Tournament.  

Horsley (Pennington, N.J. / The Pennington School), a senior midfielder, was honored for the third time this postseason after being named to the All-Region First team and making her third straight appearance on the All-CC team, garnering first-team honors the last two years. Horsley is tied for second on the team with 12 goals, tallying three in the NCAA Tournament. 

The senior ended her career by setting a new program record for penalty strokes made at 10 and tied for eighth in career assists with 18. 

Johns Hopkins junior midfielder Grace Hillman has earned a pair of All-America honors this week. She was named to both the Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) and Synapse Sports All-America Second Teams. 

Hillman is the first Blue Jay to earn All-America honors from the NFHCA since 2011 and the first from Synapse Sports (formerly womensfieldhockey.com) since 2009. Hopkins has now produced 14 NFHCA All-Americans, with eight of those coming since 2006. 

Hillman, who was named the 2017 Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Year, was a First Team All-South and First Team All-Centennial selection. She totaled four points (1g, 2a) and one defensive save and anchored a defense that ranked second in the Centennial Conference in goals against average (1.08), shutouts (8) and save percentage (.828). Hillman led Hopkins to a 14-5 record, a 9-1 mark in the Centennial and the conference regular season championship. The 14 overall wins and nine conference wins are the most since 2008 and 2007, respectively.
