Bryn Mawr sophomore Hazel Miller has been named the NFHCA Division III Offensive Player of the Week after she helped lead the Owls to a 3-0 week, including a win over a nationally ranked opponent for the first time in program history.

This marks the first NFHCA Player of the Week honor for any Owl in recorded program history.

Miller got her week started with an assist on Bryn Mawr's insurance goal in a 2-0 win at home over Delaware Valley last Wednesday. Her biggest contributions came later in the weekend however, starting with a key performance in the Owls' 3-2 upset win over #18 Christopher Newport. The sophomore scored the game's second goal and then went on to add the key assist on the eventual game-winner, helping Bryn Mawr to that first-ever victory over a nationally ranked opponent. Then on Sunday, Miller capped off the week with what would prove to be the game-winning goal in the 49th minute of a 3-1 win at Mary Washington.

The Owls sophomore forward is now tied atop the Centennial Conference in total points and tied for second in the league in total goals this season.

Miller and the rest of the Owls will be back in action at home this weekend for their Centennial Conference opener against Gettysburg. Bryn Mawr will welcome the Bullets on Saturday as part of the College's Homecoming festivities, with gametime set for 3:30 PM on Applebee Field on September 24.
