Two teams fighting for a playoff berth and a first-round home match square off this afternoon at Walton Field. The Bears (6-6-3, 3-3-1 CC) are in the hunt for their first-ever Centennial men's soccer tourney berth, while the Fords (8-6, 3-4) look to extend their three-year streak of Conference postseason appearances. Haverford is 14-5-2 against Ursinus since 1993 and has won five straight from the Bears. UC's last win was a 2-1 triumph on the Main Line in 2008. Bear keeper Ryan Murphy (pictured) is the reigning CC Defensive Player of the Week after going 1-0-1 with a 90.9 save percentage. Haverford's Brady Seitz has scored on a Conference-leading 38.1 percent of his shots on goal (8-of-21).

Dickinson at Muhlenberg, 7:00
The 19th ranked Mules (10-1-2, 5-1-1 CC) welcome the Red Devils (11-3-1, 6-1) to Carlisle in a matchup of teams ranked 3-4 in the Mid-Atlantic region by the NSCAA. It is the 53rd time the schools have met on the pitch since 1964 with 'Berg holding a 31-17-4 series advantage. Dickinson has won four in a row from the Mules and is 7-1-1 since 2008. Muhlenberg has not won in Cumberland County since a 4-0 triumph in 2003. 'Berg's Lance Dotzman (pictured) leads the Conference in scoring 8-4-20 and has a goal in three straight games. Devil keeper Reed Milbrath leads the Centennial in save percentage (84.1) and has four shutouts in his last seven outings.

Field Hockey
Washington College at Haverford, 7:00
The Shorewomen (11-4, 4-4 CC) travel to the Main Line to take on the Fords (7-8, 3-5 CC) in an elimination game. Both teams need a victory to keep their hopes alive for a spot in next week's Conference tournament. Haverford has an eight-game win streak against Washington College since a 1-0 loss in Chestertown in 2005. WAC has not won at Haverford since 2994 (2-0). The Shorewomen have better statistical numbers than the Fords, averaging 3.2 to 1.9 goals per game, while surrendering 1.17 to 2.13 per game. Washington's Elizabeth Davis has a team-leading 12 goals but has tallied just once in the team's four defeats. Catherine Aronowitz (pictured) leads the Fords in scoring (7-7-21).

Volleyball
Gettysburg at Franklin & Marshall, 7:00
The Bullets (19-9, 5-3 CC) travel to Lancaster to take on the Diplomats (15-11, 4-4 CC) in the 54th meeting between the schools since 1976. Gettysburg holds a 37-16 all-time series lead, but F&M has won two in a row and four of the last five matches. The Bullets can secure a playoff berth with a victory, while the Diplomats need a win to keep their hopes alive. Gettysburg's Laura Bergin (3.29 kills per set) needs four kills to reach 300 for the season. F&M senior setter Caroline Hubbard (pictured) is second in the CC in assists and is on pace to become just the ninth player in Centennial history to average 9+ assists per set over a career. These two teams have played three straight five-set matches and 10 since 1993 with the Diplomats winning six.
