Haverford has made a steady ascent in 2015, improving from No. 23 in the preseason to its current position. It's the first time since the national poll started in 2006 that the team has improved four weeks in a row.
Senior Charlie Marquardt won his fifth career cross country individual title last Friday at the Paul Short Run, crossing the finish line with a time of 24:56. MEN'S SOCCER (NSCAA, D3soccer.com)
1/1 - Franklin & Marshall
Franklin & Marshall is the first Centennial team to earn the No. 1 ranking from the NSCAA. The Diplomats are also ranked first by D3soccer.com - the first time a Centennial team has earned the top spot from them since Swarthmore in 2010.
The Diplomats have also not lost a regular-season contest in 30 straight games, a mark that dates back to Oct. 19, 2013 in a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Haverford.
The Fords defeated Rutgers-Camden, 3-0, breaking a 14-match unbeaten streak at home for Rutgers-Camden. The Raptors (8-3-1) had gone 13-0-1 since the Fords handed them a 7-4 defeat during last year's meeting. Dating back to the 2010 season, the Raptors are 57-4-3 during home matches. Two of those four losses can now be claimed by the Fords. Will Corkery now has nine helpers on the season, already surpassing his total which led the Centennial Conference a season ago.
