LANCASTER, Pa. -- The Centennial Conference has released its Spring 2022 Academic Honorees including Scholar-Athletes of the Year, the Academic All-Centennial Team, and the Academic Honor Roll. A total of 1,026 student-athletes were honored in the sports of baseball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, softball, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's outdoor track & field.

Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors were awarded in each sport to a member of the junior or senior class with the highest cumulative GPA on the All-Centennial Team.

Four repeat winners and two Centennial Athletes of the Year lead the Scholar-Athlete of the Year honorees for the spring season. Repeat honorees include Jamie Belfer of Franklin & Marshall softball, Maxwell Seeber of Muhlenberg men's lacrosse, Kendall Praitis-Hill of Swarthmore men's track & field, and Marielle Avola of Muhlenberg women's track & field. Marymount's Hunter Gillis (women's golf) and Johns Hopkins' Anjali Devireddy (women's tennis) earned both Athlete of the Year and Scholar-Athlete of the Year in their respective sports this spring. Gillis and Devireddy join an elite club of 16 student-athletes in Centennial history to receive both awards in the same season. Scroll down for the full list.

The Spring Academic All-Centennial Team consisted of 166 student-athletes. To be nominated for the Academic All-Centennial Team a student-athlete must receive both All-Conference and Academic Honor Roll honors.
