Knowles averaged 22.3 points in a 3-0 week for the Bears, tallying a career-high 29 markers in the 81-67 win versus McDaniel. He made 9-of-14 shots against the Green Terror, including five three-pointers, and was perfect on six free throws. Knowles, who shot 57.5 percent from the floor on the week, tallied 20 points in the win at Eastern and 18 in the triumph at Washington College.

Centennial Notebook

Franklin & Marshall head coach Glenn Robinson earned the 900th win of his career as the Diplomats downed Swarthmore, 57-54. He is just the fourth coach in NCAA men's history to register 900 career victories.

Junior G Hunter Eggers (Greenwich, Conn.) led F&M with 22 points, including eight in the final 1:14 of action. The Diplomats remain at No. 17 in the latest D3hoops.com ranking.

Swarthmore fell to 0-24 vs. ranked opponents since 2002 with its 57-54 loss at #17 Franklin & Marshall. Junior F Chris Bourne (Monmouth Jct., N.J.) had a double double with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Sophomore G Matt Brennan (Ridgefield, Conn.) knocked down seven three-pointers on his way to a career-high 26 points as the Garnet handed Gettysburg its first CC loss, 71-62. Swat made 10 of 16 attempts from beyond the arc for a season-best 62.5 percent. The Garnet has recorded double-digit win totals in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 1991 and 1992. Swarthmore also received votes for the D3hoops.com Top 25 for the first time ever.

Dickinson placed five players in double figures in its 82-63 home win over Washington College. Senior G Brandon Angradi (Milford, Pa.) led the quintet with 17 points, while freshman Jule Brown (Ardmore, Pa.) added 13 with seven rebounds and five assists. Angradi is averaging 15.3 points in his three starts in 2016.

Gettysburg posted its largest margin of victory in 57 years in its 92-47 win vs. Haverford. The Bullets defeated Susquehanna, 89-41, on Jan. 5, 1959. Junior F Cody Kiefer (Gettysburg, Pa.) led Gettysburg with 17 points as all 10 players who entered the game found the scoring column. Sophomore G Matt England (Warrington, Pa.) had made 18 straight free throws before a first-half miss vs. the Fords.

Johns Hopkins senior G Gene Williams (Broomall, Pa.) tied a school record with eight three-pointers on his way to a career-high 28 points in the 75-64 win over Muhlenberg. Junior F Ryan Curran (Flanders, N.J.) posted his first career double double with 15 points and 13 caroms.

Two days prior, Hop went on the road and defeated Haverford, 61-50. It was the first time that Blue Jay freshman Michael Gardner (New York, N.Y.) played inside the Fords' athletic center named in honor of his late father, Douglas Gardner (Haverford '83). The elder Gardner died in the World Trade Center on September 11.

McDaniel senior G Wes Brooks (North Wales, Pa.) scored a career-best 26 points with six three-pointers in the loss at Ursinus. He has made at least one three in 15 consecutive contests. Senior F Tim Stewart (Smyrna, Del.) has scored in double figures in 16 straight games.

Muhlenberg overcame a nine-point deficit in the final nine minutes to defeat Dickinson, 58-54, last Thursday. Sophomore JeanLee Baez (Allentown, Pa.) had 13 of his career-high 17 points in the final 20 minutes and added 12 rebounds for his second double double.

Ursinus ran its winning streak to four with wins vs. Washington College and McDaniel. The Bears shot 60.6 percent from the floor in the first half on its way to an 85-74 win in Chestertown. Sophomore F Joe LoStracco (Chalfont, Pa.) led the way with 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting. He has made 32 of his last 46 shots (69.6%) over the past six games. Junior G Matt Knowles (Waverly, Pa.) lit up the Terror for 29 points in the 81-67 victory. Freshman G Eric Williams (Plainfield, N.J.) made five threes to stretch his CC-leading total to 40.

Washington College freshman F Kaiden Williams (Elkton, Md.) grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds and added three steals in the loss at Dickinson. Classmate Kevin McCormick (Springfield, Pa.) made 4-of-5 threes in the loss to Ursinus and has connected on eight of his last 13 attempts from long range.
