Kiefer hit 11-of-15 shots from the field for a career-high 34 points to go along with 10 rebounds as the Bullets defeated Johns Hopkins, 83-70. It is the highest scoring output by a Bullet since Curtis McNeil '02 scored 35 vs. F&M on Jan. 12, 2002. It was Kiefer's fourth career double-double.

Around the Conference

Conference play gets into full swing this week with 10 games on Tuesday and Saturday. 

Gettysburg senior F/C Kevin Gladstone (Havertown, Pa.) registered a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds vs. Johns Hopkins, while sophomore F Matt England (Warrington, Pa.) added a career-best 18 points.

McDaniel senior Tim Stewart (Smyrna, Del.) made 11-of-15 shots from the field and collected nine rebounds in the Terror's win over Dickinson. Senior Wes Brooks (North Wales, Pa.) added 19 as McDaniel defeated Dickinson in Westminster for the second straight season.

Franklin & Marshall senior F Cedric Moune (Douala, Cameroon) had 18 points and 10 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season in the OT win at Muhlenberg. He has made eight or more free throws in three of the Diplomats' five games.

Swarthmore sophomore G Matt Brennan (Ridgefield, Conn.) scored a game-high 21 points, including seven straight in a 1:10 stretch late in the second half to turn a 53-52 deficit into a 59-55 lead vs. Ursinus. Junior F Chris Bourne (Monmouth Junction, N.J.) and soph F Robbie Walsh (Summit, N.J.) posted double-doubles with 20-12 and 12-14 in the win vs. Cairn. The Garnet is 4-0 for the first time since 1949-50.

Dickinson sophomore Justus Melton (Charlotte, N.C.) made 8-of-9 shots from the floor for a team-high 16 points in the loss at McDaniel. Melton is second in the Centennial in field goal percentage at 81.5 percent, missing just four of 26 shots this season.

Haverford sophomore G/F Walt Plumlee (Virginia Beach, Va.) leads the Conference in scoring at 20.5 points per game. He poured in 24 in a losing cause at Widener and has made at least three treys in three straight contests. Freshman G Kahlil Garnes (Livingston, N.J.) has scored in double figures in three of his four collegiate games. He drained five threes for 17 points vs. the Pride.
