Complete NABC All-America team

Dickinson senior Ted Hinnenkamp (York, Pa./York Suburban) was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-America Basketball Team, announced on Thursday afternoon. Hinnenkamp was a Second-team selection and also named to the NABC All-Mid-Atlantic Region squad.

Hinnenkamp was one of the leading scorers in the Centennial Conference, averaging 17.2 points per game and ranked fourth in rebounding with 7.7 per outing this season. He blocked a career-high 35 shots this season to rank eighth all-time at Dickinson with 71. He reached double-figures in all but five games this season, recording six double-doubles on the year.

He was named the Centennial Conference Player of the Year, becoming the third straight Dickinson player to receive the honor. Hinnenkamp was a unanimous selection by the coaches to the All-Centennial First-team. He made his second appearance on the All-CC squad, earning Second-team recognition in 2015. He was named D3.hoops.com Second-team All-Region and selected to play in the Reese's NABC Senior All-Star Game in Salem, Virginia on March 19th.

Hinnenkamp capped an outstanding career with a great senior season. Scoring 1,114 points, Hinnenkamp set the school record with a remarkable career shooting percentage of .580. He ranks second in single season shooting percentage, hitting 62 percent of his attempts last season. The York, Pa. native ranks ninth in the Centennial Conference in career shooting percentage and tied for fourth on the CC list, playing in a school record 116 games.

He has been a part of some of the most successful men's basketball teams in school history, taking the program to new heights during his four years at Dickinson. The team set countless Centennial Conference and school records, and has turned into a nationally recognized contender. In 2014, the Red Devils advanced to the 'Elite Eight' of the NCAA Tournament, making their second straight NCAA Tournament appearance. That season they posted a school-best 24 wins, going 24-7. They matched that win total in 2015 as well, making another appearance in the "Sweet 16", running their record to 24-6.

Hinnenkamp will graduate in May and is looking to continue his playing career. He is currently pursuing opportunities to play professionally overseas.
