2017 Outlook
Preseason Prediction: 9th
Haverford is a team to watch this season. Despite winning just four games a year ago, the Fords gained a great deal of experience and return five starters, including four sophomores. Sherman is the lone senior starter who averaged 11.3 points per game before being sidelined with an injury. That forced the youngsters to step up - and they did. Scibelli earned Conference Rookie of the Year honors after averaging 11.5 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. Garnes led the team in scoring at 12.2 ppg, while Goldfarb and Stogdon combined for 8.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per outing. Fried added 3.0 rebounds and 39 blocks in the middle. Add to that nucleus and six-pack of freshman talent and the Fords will be a much tougher out in 2017.
