LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's J.C. McGrath was named the Centennial Conference (CC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. The honor was the second of the season for McGrath and the fourth for a member of the Diplomats.

McGrath (Newark, Del. / Munich International School) averaged 17.0 points and 8.5 rebounds while shooting 72.2 percent from the field as F&M locked up the No. 2 seed for the upcoming CC Tournament with a 2-0 week for the Diplomats. 

The sophomore forward scored 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds in a 77-75 win at Dickinson on Wednesday. McGrath followed up that effort with a perfect 10-of-10 from the floor for a game-high 24 points, to go along with nine rebounds, as the Diplomats downed No. 21 Swarthmore, 93-66 on Saturday. 

F&M travels to Swarthmore on Friday evening to face off against Dickinson in the CC Semifinals at 6:00 p.m.
