2019 Outlook
Preseason Prediction: 1st
Hopkins won its first Centennial title since 2007 in Loeffler's first year at the helm. What do the Blue Jays do for an encore? Gardner is one of the top guards in the region and averaged 14.2 points per game while making 71 threes. Delaney, the Centennial Rookie of the Year and Kern made a significant impact as first-years, combining to average 19.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.1 assists per outing. O'Neil and Vila return in the middle and combined to average 13.4 points and 8.1 rebounds. Vila also earned CC Defensive Player of the Year honors. Ralby and Fitzpatrick are veterans in the backcourt. The first-year class has added some needed height and could contribute early. The Jays are in position to repeat as Centennial champs.
