Tornoe rallied back from a two-stroke deficit after day one of the McDaniel Spring Invitational to claim the individual title at The Bridges Golf Club. The freshman fired a two-day total of 152 (+8), with a 75 in round one and a 77 in round two. He finished tied with Stevenson's Ronak Patel, but won the tiebreaker due to a better result on the third hardest hole on course to claim the individual crown among the 84-player field. The Red Devils placed third in the team standing in the 17-team tournament at 636, two shots shy of second-place McDaniel and nine short of team champion Franklin & Marshall.
