WAYNESBORO, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall won its third consecutive and 13th overall Centennial Conference men's golf championship on Saturday at Waynesboro Country Club. The Diplomats posted a 54-hole total of 876 to win by eight strokes, while F&M's Jas Fuhrer also came home with the individual title. 

F&M's 876 is the second-lowest 54-hole team scoring in CC championship history. The top score of 859 was set by the Diplomats last season at Hershey Country Club's East Course. 
 
Fuhrer led the way for the Diplomats with a 54-hole total of three-under 213 to win the individual title by two shots. Fuhrer's 213 is the third-lowest 54-hole individual score in CC championship history. The senior standout is the ninth F&M player to win the individual title at the CC championship. Fuhrer posted rounds of 76-68-69 en route to the win. 

McDaniel's Ryan McGarry placed second in the individual standings with a one-under 215, joining Fuhrer as the only two players in the field to finish under par for the three rounds. After shooting a nine-over 81 on Friday, McGarry bounced back with a 10-under 36-hole score on Saturday. 

Gettysburg's Patrick Kilcoyne took third place with a one-over 217, while teammate Daniel Suter and Swarthmore's Dylan Zhang were just one shot behind in a tie for fourth place, 

The 35 competitors in the chanpionship field braved through difficulty cold, windy and rainy conditions during Friday's opening 18 holes. Due to Sunday's forecast, 36 holes were played on Saturday to complete the 54-hole tournament.
