Kolen scored nine goals and handed out four assists in a 2-0 week for the Bullets. He tallied six times with two assists in a 17-4 win against McDaniel and followed that with a hat trick and two helpers in the 15-13 win at Washington College.

Tallied 10 goals and handed out a pair of assists in two games this week for the Shoremen. In the team's 14-8 win over Muhlenberg on Tuesday, he had a career-high seven goals and also scooped up two ground balls and had a caused turnover. He scored seven of the team's first 10 goals, including the eventual game-winning goal with 12:57 left in the third quarter. On Saturday at #10 Franklin & Marshall, he had three goals and two assists for five points, which was a team-high in all three categories. He also had a ground ball and a caused turnover.

Michael McCormick, So, M, Gettysburg

McCormick scored the game-tying and game-winning goals to cap No. 4 Gettysburg's 12-11 come-from-behind victory at No. 10 Dickinson. He pulled the Bullets even with 3:40 remaining, then slotted home the game-winner with 58 seconds left as Gettysburg ended the game on an 8-0 run to wipe out a seven-goal second-half deficit. McCormick finished the game with three goals and one assist, and he also posted a goal and an assist in the Bullets' 11-5 victory over Haverford. His efforts helped the 13-1 Bullets win their seventh-straight game, clinch the program's 18th-straight Centennial Conference playoff berth, and take sole possession of first place in the conference standings.

 

Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week 4/9/18
Dylan Maher, Sr, A, Dickinson
Ridgefield, Conn./Ridgefield
Maher tallied twice in the opening quarter and tacked on three in the third to lead the #9-ranked Red Devils past Haverford on Friday night. He added an assist to finish with six points on the night, leading the Centennial Conference with 50 on the year. He ranks second in the CC with 40 goals.

Casey Grieves, Jr, A, Washington College
Easton, Md./Sts. Peter & Paul
Scored eight goals and added four assists for 12 points in a 2-0 week for the Shoremen. Tallied career-highs of six goals and 10 points in Washington's 16-8 win at McDaniel on Saturday as he tied his personal-best in assists with four. He factored in Washington's first five goals, assisting on the first three and scoring the last two and then capped the team's 7-0 first quarter with a goal to give him three goals and assists in the first. Eight (five goals and three helpers) of his 10 points came in the first half as the Shoremen took a 10-2 lead into halftime. Added a goal and assist in the second half as the Shoremen led by as many as 12 at 14-2. On Wednesday in the team's 13-12 victory at Ursinus, he scored two goals, including the goal that ignited a 10-2 run that turned a 7-2 deficit in the second quarter into a 12-9 lead in the third.

Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles
Strods tallied four goals in the opening quarter and finished with five on the day, scoring on 5-of-8 shots as the #11-Red Devils opened Centennial Conference play with a 14-8 win at Washington College.

 

     

Men’s Lacrosse Co-Offensive Players of the Week 3/19/18
Tyler Strods, Sr, A, Dickinson
Skaneateles, N.Y. / Skaneateles
Strods had a great weekend at the Green Turtle Classic, leading the Red Devils to a pair of wins over #19-ranked Stevenson and #2-ranked Denison. Strods tallied six goals and one assist while controlling four ground balls. He found the net four times against the Big Red on Saturday, marking the second straight year Dickinson knocked off the #2-ranked team at the Classic. 

Kevin Mollihan, So, A, Franklin & Marshall
Ridgewood, N.J. / Ridgewood
Kevin Mollihan scored four goals and handed out an assist in F&M's 10-9 overtime upset of No. 6 Cortland last week. He finished the week with three goals against Elizabethtown.

Ridgefield, Conn. / Ridgefield
Maher tallied nine goals and two assists in a 1-1 week for the #12-ranked Red Devils. He scored four against #17 Roanoke and added five goals and two assists in the win over Widener on Saturday.

 

Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week 3/5/18
Cooper Sloan, So, A, Washington College
Long Valley, N.J. / West Morris Central
Talled 11 points on four goals and seven assists in a 2-0 week for the Shoremen in addition to picking up five ground balls. In the team's 13-10 win over Frostburg St. on Saturday, he had game-bests of four goals, four assists and a career-best eight points. In the fourth quarter, he factored into three of Washington's four goals as the Shoremen outscored the Bobcats 4-2 to win by three. He scored go ahead goal with 10:28 left in the fourth quarter and also scored the team's final goal with 4:44 left to give WC a 13-9 and capped a run of four straight scores for the Shoremen. He also assisted on the team's 12th goal with 6:03 left. In the second quarter, he scored back-to-back goals to give Washington it's first lead of the game with 1:28 to go. Two of his three ground balls all led to goals for the Shoremen. On Wednesday in the team's 20-4 win over St. Mary's (Md.), he handed out three assists.

 

Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week 2/26/18

Ridgefield, Conn./Ridgefield
Maher had a career day, netting nine goals and handing out two assists as the #14-ranked Red Devils rolled past Montclair State, 25-8, on Saturday. Maher scored four goals in the opening quarter, ending the period with a natural hat trick. His nine goals and 11 points both tie for third in the program's single-game top 10. He put 75 percent of his shots in the net on Saturday, converting 9-of-12 attempts.

 

Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week 2/19/18
Casey Grieves, Jr, A, Washington College
Easton, Md. / Sts. Peter and Paul HS
Grieves posted career-highs in goals (5) and points (7) as the Shoremen opened the season with a 16-7 triumph against Birmingham-Southern. Three of his tallies came in the first half as WAC sprinted out to a 7-3 halftime lead.
