Red Devils & Bullets Set for Rematch After NCAA Second Round Wins

CARLISLE, Pa. -- Seventh-ranked Dickinson and 16th-ranked Gettysburg each posted victories in second round of the NCAA Division III men's lacrosse tournament on Saturday in Carlisle, setting up a Centennial Conference championship rematch on Sunday at Biddle Field. 

The Red Devils cruised past Stevens 20-6 to improve to 19-0 and break the school record for most consecutive wins (18) that was set in 2013. Skyler Schluter led the Dickinson attack with three goals and four assists, while James Isaacson and Sam Campbell scored four times apiece. Chris Brandau made 15 saves in the cage for the Red Devils. 

In the second game of the day at Biddle Field, Gettysburt topped Roanoke 14-8. Connor Hume led the Bullet attack with four goals and two assists, while Spencer Knife score once and dished out five assists. Scott Macmillan made 12 save for Gettysburg to earn the win. 

Game time is set for 3 p.m. on Sunday between the Red Devils and Bullets with a spot in the Elite Eight on the line.
