Twenty-one Centennial Conference swimmers are set to compete at the NCAA Division III Swimming Championships beginning Wednesday. 

The championships will be held March 15-18 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C. Old Dominion Athletic Conference and Greensboro Aquatic Center will serve as hosts. A total of 579 participants (526 swimmers and 53 divers) will compete in the championships.

The Swarthmore women lead all CC squads with 10 qualifiers for nationals. The Gettysburg women are sending a six-swimmer contingent to Greensboro, while the Swarthmore men (4) and Ursinus women (1) will also be represented. 

Swarthmore's Andrew Karpenko earned a trio of All-America honors last winter in the 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke and 200 IM, and will be aiming for a repeat performance in each of those events this week. 

Swarthmore's Sophie Rotival, Gaby Ma, Cara Lee and Erin Szuromi each return to the NCAA meet after qualifying last season. The Gettysburg women's 200 medley relay team enters the championship with the top seed among CC competitors, seeded 10th with a time of 1:43.25. Swarthmore's Rotival owns the top individual seed, entering the championship ranked 11th in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.89).
