BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Swarthmore's Aidan Cantine secured All-America honors in the mile to lead Centennial Conference performers on day two of the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships Saturday at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
Cantine raced to fourth place in the mile with a time of 4:05.36 to grab All-America recognition. That time ranks fifth all-time in Centennial history.
In the team standings, Hopkins placed in a tie for 25th behind the distance medley relay team's second-place finish on Saturday. Cantine's efforts earned five points for the Garnet, placing them in a tied for 42nd.
