Muhlenberg's Munyan Selected Cross Country Runner of the Week

Munyan (left) finished in first place at the Cedar Crest/Muhlenberg Invitational for the first win of his collegiate career. He was only the third Muhlenberg runner, and the first since 2003, to come in first in the 21-year history of the meet. He led a 1-2-3 Muhlenberg finish as the Mules breezed to the team title by 54 points over Ursinus.



 

 

Notebook:

Senior Patrick Hill finished sixth among 99 runners as Gettysburg placed second out of nine teams at the Messiah Invitational. He was timed at 28:34 for the 8,000-meter course as the Bullets finished with 42 points to place behind only Messiah's 23 points.

Ursinus sophomore Vincent Flood finished with the top spot on the team as he was sixth overall at 20:20.67 at the Cedar Crest Invitational.

Bryan Andrews led the way with a second place finish in 27:14.79 on the 8k course hosted by York College. Andrews finish helped F&M when the team title for the second straight year at the Rich Achtzehn Classic.

Steinbock ran to his second straight individual title, claiming the top spot at the Little Three Championship on Friday. Steinbock became the 14th consecutive Red Devil to win the individual title, leading the Dickinson men to a remarkable 17th straight team championship.

 Steinbock ran to the individual title at the Misericordia Invitational on Friday evening with a time of 16:05. He led Dickinson to the team title as the Red Devils claimed the top 10 spots in the race.
