DeNoville hit .643 with nine hits in a 3-1 week. She had a pair of doubles among her 11 total bases for a .786 slugging percentage, while scoring three times and driving in three more.
Pitcher of the Week
Chelsea Homa, Dickinson
Junior, RHP, Newton, N.J. / Newton HS
Homa went 3-1 last week with a 1.35 ERA in four outings. She fanned 30 batters and held opponents to a .198 batting average. Homa struck out 11 Juniata hitters and added nine in the opener vs. Swarthmore.

Gettysburg senior OF Joy Hallfors (Mt. Airy, Md. / Linganore) is now the career hits leader at the school with 176, bettering the old mark of 174 held by Mandy Wilson '02. She also established a new mark for career at-bats with 491. Junior Maggie Maguire (Madison, Conn. / Daniel Hand) set a program record for career home runs (14), bettering the old standard of 13 held by Wilson and Heather Sagaities '08.
Gettysburg sophomore OF Melissa Tighe (Little Falls, N.J. / Mt. St. Dominic) has reached base safely in all 30 games this season.
Washington College sophomore RHP Kristin Cooper (Georgetown, Del. / Sussex Central) became the program's all-time leader in strikeouts (202), breaking the record of 201 set by Diane Green '06.
Swarthmore senior Kate Smayda (White Plains, N.Y. / White Plains) is closing in on the school career hits record. She has 154 and is 11 shy of the all-time mark of 165 set by Kathryn Riley '10.
McDaniel sophomore Caroline Brehm (Hanover, Pa. / New Oxford) became just the third pitcher in Centennial history to surpass 600 career strikeouts last week. She now has 616 for her career and is 45 shy of second place on the Conference list.
Muhlenberg reached 20 wins (20-5-1) with a twinbill sweep of Drew. The only times the Mules got to 20 victories faster were 1989 (23 games), 1990 (23) and 1991 (25). One of the reasons for the success - Muhlenberg is 7-0 in one-run games.
