McDaniel rallied late to break two deadlocks and record a doubleheader sweep of Haverford in Centennial Conference (CC) softball action on Sunday. The Green Terror (14-12, 3-5 CC) scored twice in the top of the seventh for a 4-2 game-one win before plating one in the top of the 10th inning of game two to complete the sweep, 2-1. Caroline Brehm (Hanover, Pa./New Oxford), one day after pitching 17 innings, threw all 17 innings with 22 combined strikeouts. She fanned eight in game one before mowing down 14 in the nightcap. Ally Galati (Milford, Pa./Cornwall Central) led the offense with four hits.

Salisbury's Paige Knussman hit a walk-off single with one out in the bottom of the eighth in game two of the doubleheader to give host Salisbury a 3-2 win over visiting Washington College at SU Softball Field on Sunday afternoon in non-conference softball action.  The Sea Gulls took game one, 11-3, in six innings due to the eight-run rule.  The Sea Gulls with the twinbill sweep improve to 24-2 on the year, while the Shorewomen drop to 19-8.  The Shorewomen had their six-game win streak snapped in the doubleheader.
