WESTMINSTER, Md. – McDaniel rapped out 21 hits to break out for a doubleheader sweep of Dickinson in the Centennial Conference (CC) softball opener on Tuesday.

Behind Caroline Brehm's (Hanover, Pa./New Oxford) fourth career no-hitter, the Green Terror (10-6, 2-0 CC) took the opener 8-0 in five innings before completing the sweep with a 13-1 five-inning win in game two.

Jamie Weisser (Chappaqua, N.Y./Horace Greeley) led the offensive attack with five hits in the twinbill, including a pair of home runs in game one. She drove in eight runs in the two games.

Katie Swada and Nicole Clayton had the only hits of the day for the Red Devils (10-3, 2-2 CC), recording one knock each in game two.

With one out in the third inning of game one, Stacie Maring (Woodbine, Md./South Carroll) drove a ball up the middle.

After a stolen base, Payton Lewis (Valrico, Fla./Durant) followed with a walk.

Weisser cleared the left-field fence with two outs for her first career home run.

Tayler Hishon (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas) and Taylor Fletcher (Linden, Va./Fauquier) followed with back-to-back singles before Olivia Kipe (Manchester, Md./Manchester Valley) doubled to the gap in left-center to push the lead to 4-0.

A Carly Deichman (Easton, Pa./Freedom) single up the middle plated Fletcher and Kipe to cap a six-run frame.

Lindsey Miller (Gettysburg, Pa./New Oxford) doubled with two outs in the fourth before Weisser made it a two-home run game, lifting a 2-1 pitch to left-center for the Green Terror's first multiple-homer game since 2013.

Brehm, who had retired the first 12 batters of the game, went back to work in the top of the inning, notching her third strikeout of the game for the first out. After a fielding error broke up the perfect game, Brehm finished off the no-no with back-to-back strikeouts.

After Brehm worked around a leadoff single in the top of the first and pair of passed balls, Lewis drew a one-out walk in the bottom of the frame.

Miller followed with a first-pitch home run to straightaway center field for her first roundtripper and a 2-0 lead.

A hit batter, Clayton infield single and throwing error cut the deficit to 2-1 in the top of the second.

Five singles and a Maring double keyed a five-run second inning in which McDaniel sent 10 batters to the plate.

A Miller RBI single, Weisser RBI double and two-run single from Hishon – all with two outs – stretched the lead to 11-1 in the bottom of the third.

Roxana Aviles (Manassas, Va./Osbourn) singled with one out before a Maring sacrifice fly and Deichman pinch-hit RBI single set the final margin in the bottom of the fourth.

The Green Terror returns to action at home against Franklin & Marshall on Saturday. The first game of the doubleheader begins at 1 p.m.
