LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Seven Centennial Conference softball players have been named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Region V teams.
Gettysburg led the CC with three All-Region honorees, while Washington College (2), McDaniel (1) and Swarthmore (1) each had one player honored.
Gettysburg's Paige Forry and Giovanna Komst, the 2023 Centennial Pitcher and Player of the Year, respectively, led the way as first team selections.
Landing on the second team were McDaniel's Katy Newton, Washington College's Alyssa Vieira and Swarthmore's Olivia McClammy. Washington College's Lexie Witmer and Gettysburg's Julia Smith earned third team laurels.
McClammy was the lone repeat selection among the group, having earned first team honors in 2022.
