Head Coach Kirsten Richter
Kirsten Richter (Franklin & Marshall '03) enters her fourth season as head coach of Franklin & Marshall’s women’s basketball team in 2013-14. Richter has twice guided the Diplomats to the Centennial Conference semifinals in her three years at the helm. Richter helped Alexa Barbush '13 become just the third player in program history to receive multiple All-America honors, as Barbush brought home the accolade in both 2011-12 and 2012-13. She has coached six All-CC selections throughout her tenure, including one CC Player of the Year, (Alex Barbush/2011-12). In 2011-12, Richter led F&M to an 18-8, 15-5 CC record and a second-place CC regular season finish. Richter led the Diplomats to a fourth place finish in the CC in her first year; an improvement from a ninth place finish the year before. F&M also won its first CC playoff game in program history in 2010-11. / Coaching Staff

2014 Outlook
The Diplomats will look to improve on its 8-17 record of a year ago without first-team All-Centennial guard Alexa Barbush, who was lost to graduation. F&M will turn to the inside game of McCarthy and Lisle. Nussbaum and Bacile will lead the backcourt. Hopes are high for the newcomers to contribute significant minutes, includng Haddon and Dowicz. The Diplomats are in the midst of a transition and may be a year away from playoff contention.
