Women’s Basketball Co-Players of the Week 1/15/18

Wetzel averaged 15 points and 10.3 rebounds in three games this week, including a key road win over Gettysburg. She tallied a career high seven blocks in a home win against McDaniel and had 14 total blocks for the week.

Lesher had an outstanding week, leading the Red Devils to a pair of Centennial Conference wins. The senior forward averaged a double-double with 19.3 points and 15.7 rebounds over three games. She recorded three double-doubles, posting two before halftime. She controlled 19 of her 47 rebounds on the offensive end, adding five steals and a pair of blocked shots. Lesher tallied 19 points and 19 rebounds, hitting 9-of-10 free throws on Sunday and 16-of-21 (76%) for the week.
