Offensive Player of the Week

Carly Eisenbrandt, Sr, Washington College

Scored a team-high nine points on a team-best seven goals to go along with two assists in a 2-0 week for WC.  Had game-highs of five goals and six points in Washington's 12-11 double overtime victory over #5 Gettysburg on Saturday to go along with three draw controls which tied for the team high.  It was the team's first win over Gettysburg since a 12-9 win on 5/1/99 and ended a 17-game losing streak to the Bullets.  Scored a pair of goals in each and the first goal of the first overtime 49 seconds into the extra period.  Scored the game-tying goal with 2:39 left in the first half to send the game to halftime at 4-4 and put WC ahead for the first time since early in the first half with 15:08 remaining in the second half at 7-6.  On Wednesday in a 11-6 victory at Haverford, she had three points on two goals and one assist.  She scored the game-winning goal with 21:18 left in the contest to put Washington ahead 7-5 and then assisted on the next goal to give the Shorewomen an 8-5 lead with 18:58 to go in the contest.

Defensive Player of the Week

Allison Remenapp, Fr, Washington College

Went 2-0 with a .564 save percentage and a 7.93 goals against average for the Shorewomen this past week.  In the team's 12-11 double overtime victory over #5 Gettysburg on Saturday, she matched her personal-high with 14 saves, including a save on a point-blank shot with 5:08 left in the second overtime session to keep the score tied at 11-11.  Made 10 of her 14 saves after halftime in the team's first victory over Gettysburg since a 12-9 triumph on 5/1/99, a span of 17 games.  She also scooped up a pair of ground balls in the win.  At Haverford on Wednesday night, she made eight saves in an 11-6 victory, making five of the eight stops in the second half.  Had more saves than goals allowed in both games and had 22 saves for the week.
