Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
Casey Armstrong, Jr, A, Muhlenberg
Armstrong scored 19 points on 12 goals and seven assists in a 1-1 week for the Mules. Her 12 goals came on only 15 shots. She scored six of her nine points against Haverford in the second half, helping Muhlenberg pull away from a one-point halftime lead for a 19-10 win. Armstrong tied a career high with 10 points in a 20-17 loss at Washington.
Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
Shannon Keeler, So, GK, Gettysburg
Keeler made nine saves while allowing just five goals in a 2-0 week for the Bullets. She stopped nine shots and didn't allow a goal over the final 28 minutes of a 15-5 win at Dickinson. Keeler only played the first half of a blowout of Swarthmore, turning away both shots she saw on goal. The Bullet goalie recorded a save percentage of 68.8 percent and has posted a scoreless streak of 58:36.
