Johnson & Landis, Players of the Week, 3/17/20

Centennial Conference Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week

March 9-15

Offensive Player of the Week
Sloan Johnson, Fr., M, Bryn Mawr
Chattanooga, Tenn. | The Baylor School
Johnson scored four goals in each of Bryn Mawr's wins last week, leading the Owls to the best start in program history. She tallied four goals against Rutgers-Camden at home, then added four more, including the game-winner, and an assist on the road at Cedar Crest. She connected on 88.9% of her shot attempts in the two victories. Johnson is now tied as the second-leading scorer in the Centennial Conference this year with 15 goals and is also tied at the top of the conference in free position percentage after scoring on her lone FPS opportunity last week. Thanks to Johnson's output, the Owls lead the conference in scoring offense and points per game and are fifth nationally in scoring margin. They also moved to 6-0 on the season, their first six-game win streak in program history.

Defensive Player of the Week
Chase Landis, So., M, Dickinson
New Canaan, Conn. | Berkshire School
Landis turned in a strong performance in the midfield to lead the Red Devils past Rhodes 13-9. The sophomore caused four turnovers and controlled three ground balls while adding a goal and an assist.
