CoSIDA Academic All-District Women's At-Large Teams

A pair of Centennial Conference women's lacrosse standouts have been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team - Gettysburg senior Liza Barr and Swarthmore senior Sadie Camilliere

The CoSIDA Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. The At-Large Team takes into account sports that do not have their own dedicated team for a particular sport.

Barr notches her second Academic All-District selection. A two-time first-team All-American, Barr ended her career as one of the top offensive performers in program history. She tallied 238 points on 122 goals and 116 assists in just 68 games. She finished fifth in career assists and ninth in career points at Gettysburg. Last spring, Barr led all of NCAA Division III and set school and conference records with 75 assists. She tallied 127 points overall in 2019, which marked the second-highest total in school history. In the second round of the national playoffs against Westminster (Pa.) College, she set school and conference records with 13 assists and 15 points.

Barr began her collegiate lacrosse career by helping the Bullets claim back-to-back national titles in 2017 and 2018. She earned a spot on the NCAA All-Tournament Team after pouring in a career-high five goals as Gettysburg topped No. 4 Middlebury College for the NCAA trophy. That performance landed her a spot in Sports Illustrated's Faces in the Crowd section.

While maintaining a peak level of performance on the field, Barr was equally impressive in the classroom. She maintained one of the highest grade-point averages among all student-athletes at Gettysburg and was tabbed to the Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa honor societies. Barr was given the Clair B., Mary E., and Constance Noerr (Baker) Memorial Award, which is presented to a female senior on the basis of proficiency in athletics, scholarship, and character. She was also the recipient of the John Edgar Baublitz Pi Lambda Sigma Award in Management. Barr graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Organization and Management Studies.

Camilliere, a double major in linguistics and psychology, also recently earned honors from the Centennial Conference for being the women's lacrosse and overall Scholar-Athlete of the Year. This is Camilliere's first time earning CoSIDA Academic All-District. Last season she was honored by the Philadelphia Inquirer as a member of the Academic All-Area Team was the Centennial Scholar-Athlete of the Year for women's lacrosse in 2019 as well.

She was an All-Centennial Second Team member as a defender last season and graduates with the ninth-most caused turnovers in program history. Swarthmore Women's Lacrosse held a perfect 5-0 record when the 2020 season ended.
