Hopkins Clinches Top Seed in Women's Soccer Action

Spencer Plante scored her second goal of the season in the 78th minute, and the defense preserved the lead, as Franklin & Marshall notched a crucial 1-0 triumph over Dickinson in Centennial Conference (CC) women's soccer action Sunday afternoon, keeping its playoff hopes alive.  With the win, the Diplomats improve to 8-6-1 (6-4 CC), while the Red Devils fall to 10-5-1 (6-4 CC).

In the battle for first between the #4 Johns Hopkins women's soccer team and the Gettysburg Bullets, the Blue Jays soared to a 6-1 victory behind senior Paulina Goodman's first career hat trick to claim the Centennial Conference regular season crown and top seed in the upcoming conference tournament.  The Blue Jays remain perfect on the season at 17-0 overall and claim a 10-0 Centennial slate for the third time in program history. With the loss, the Bullets fall to 11-6 on the season and 8-2 in the conference for the number two seed in the tournament.
