Three of the record five Centennial Conference women's soccer teams that qualified for the NCAA Tournament won their respective postseason openers in Saturday's first round action. In Amherst, Mass., 11th-ranked Dickinson took down Farmingdale State 3-1. Charlotte Glancey scored in the 13th minute and Meg Tate found the back of the net twice in the final 13 minutes to propel the Red Devils to round two. Dickinson (15-2-4) will now take on 20th-ranked Amherst (15-3-1) Sunday at 1 p.m.

In Pittsburgh, Pa., Swarthmore edged 15th-ranked Arcadia 1-0 in overtime on a penalty kick from Maddy Carens in the 97th minute of play. The Garnet (13-5) will next face host and 25th-ranked Carnegie Mellon (12-5-1) Sunday at 7 p.m.

In Cambridge, Mass., Gettysburg's season came to an end as the back-to-back national champions and 24th-ranked Williams topped the Bullets 2-0 on the campus of Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Gettysburg closes the year with a record of 13-5-1.

In Grantham, Pa., Haverford fell by a 2-0 score against Randolph-Macon (21-0-1) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Fords (12-5-2) were seemingly knocking on the doorstep of the Yellow Jackets' goal all afternoon, but could not find that elusive goal despite their best efforts over the 90 minutes.
