Muhlenberg 7, Haverford 2
ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The wait was definitely worth it for the Muhlenberg women's tennis team. In a match that lasted more than six hours and did not end until almost 10:30 p.m., the Mules overcame a one-point deficit after doubles play by sweeping the singles matches for a 7-2 win over Haverford. The win moves Muhlenberg (6-3, 4-2) into a three-way tie for third place in the Centennial Conference. Caitie Druker led the comeback with a 4-6, 6-4, 11-9 win over Katie Wettick at No. 1 singles.

 

Washington College 8, Bryn Mawr 1
BRYN MAWR, PA -- The Washington College women's tennis team improved to 11-0 overall and 6-0 in Centennial Conference play with an 8-1 win over host Bryn Mawr this afternoon. The Shorewomen's top three singles players and top doubles team each improved to 11-0 this spring during the match. Amanda Bercovici, Brittany Marshall, and Jordan Finnegan did not lose a single game in the top three singles spots. Bercovici downed Eliza Perocchi, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 1.

 

Swarthmore 8, Ursinus 1
SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The Swarthmore College women's tennis team (5-7, 4-2) took care of business on Tuesday evening, as the Garnet handled Ursinus 8-1 in Centennial Conference action. Swat took the first three doubles matches, building a 3-0 lead and never looking back. In singles play, wins from No.1 Lia Carlson (6-3, 6-0) and No.2 Emily Rosenblum (6-0, 6-0) sealed the win.

 

Franklin & Marshall 9, McDaniel 0
LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall women's tennis team picked up its first victory of the season with a 7-0 victory over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) action Tuesday afternoon.  F&M improved to 1-10, 1-4 CC while the Green Terror fell to 1-10, 1-4 CC. Anya Sahaydachny  defeated Brittany Starlings 6-1, 6-2, at No. 1 singles.
