CLAREMONT, CA - Johns Hopkins women's tennis junior Carolyn Warren fell in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Singles Championship on Saturday to end her season at 16-8. She earned All-America honors with her first round win and advanced further in the tournament than any player in program history.

Warren faced off against Kendra Higgins of Chicago, the number one ranked singles player in the Central region. She had lost just four games in her previous two matches and is the two-time defending NCAA Doubles Champion. Higgins would get the better of this match, beating Warren, 6-2, 6-0 and would later win her semifinal match to advance to the NCAA Singles title match. Warren finishes her junior campaign with a 53-27 (.663) mark in singles, ranking her third in program history. She also boasts a combined record of 91-55 (.623). Her 91 wins rank fifth in school history.
