Chia was one of three Garnet double-winners against
McDaniel (9-0). She teamed with Epiphany English dominated at
number two doubles, earning an 8-0 victory. She won at No. 4
singles 6-0, 6-0.

Washington College freshman April Weaver (Perrysburg, Ohio/Perrysburg) improved to 3-1 at No. 1 singles and 4-0 at No. 2 doubles with a pair of wins in the Shorewomen's 5-4 loss to Dickinson.
Gettysburg sophomore Isabelle Rodriguez (Plano, TX/Plano) won both her matches against Bryn Mawr last week. As one-half of the top doubles tandem, Rodriguez secured an 8-6 victory. In singles play, the sophomore didn’t drop a game en route to a 6-0, 6-0 win at the second flight.
Dickinson junior Shannon Lavery (Huntington, W. Va./Huntington) won all four courts in her two matches last week, leading the Red Devils to a 5-4 win in thier Centennial Conference opener against Washington. Lavery earned points in the second doubles flight and in number-one doubles in both matches.
Franklin & Marshall freshman Emily Gruenberg (Warren, N.J. / Morristown Beard School) picked up doubles and singles victories in helping Franklin & Marshall to a 6-3 victory over Muhlenberg in its CC opener on Saturday. Gruenberg downed Amanda von Taube 6-4, 6-1 at No. 5 singles, and teamed with Julia Fiala at No. 3 doubles to earn an 8-3 triumph.
