Visiting Misericordia topped the Owls 7-2 Tuesday evening in non-conference action. Bryn Mawr's only victory in doubles action came from the third spot as freshman Kendall Baller and sophomore Rachel Genovese 9-8 (3) as they defeated Brittany Bressler and Emily Hullings. In other doubles action, the No. 1 duo of juniors Vivien Chen and Jenny Vogel fell to Michelle Cameron and Cassie Foy 8-5. At the second spot, Emily Gherghel and Breanne Phillips downed junior Catherine Austin and freshman Melina Koukoutchos 8-4. Bryn Mawr's lone win in singles came from the No. 6 spot as freshman Amelia Arnold beat Brittany Bressler 6-3, 7-5.

Host The College of New Jersey remained undefeated
this season, improving to 11-0, with an 8-1 win over visiting
Washington College in a non-conference women's tennis match this
afternoon in Ewing, NJ. The Shorewomen fell to 3-4 on the season
with the loss. The Lions, the 12th-ranked team in the
Northeast region, captured two of the three doubles matches and
swept singles play. Washington got the win at No. 2 doubles
as freshmen Gyeyeon
Kang (Seoung Nam Si, South Korea/Westhill
[CT])and April
Weaver (Perrysburg, OH/Perrysburg) improved
to 7-0 this spring with an 8-5 victory over Jasmine
