Women’s Tennis Player of the Week 3/5/18

Senior Julie Lazer went 2-0 at both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles this past week for the Shorewomen. Versus Division I Delaware State on Friday, Lazer and Rachel Martinez rolled to an 8-0 win over Cassandra Bolton and Sofia Rachi at No. 1 doubles. At No. 1 singles, Lazer downed Rachi by scores of 6-3 and 6-2 as Lazer played a role in two of Washington's three wins against Delaware State. Against Goucher on Saturday, Lazer teamed up with Rachel Martinez to win 8-0 win over Miranda Egan-Brooks and Ali Gorson-Morrow at No. 1 doubles. Lazer would win in straight sets of Gorson-Morrow at No. 1 singles, 6-3, 6-1.
