ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Johns Hopkins junior Victoria Kadiri repeated as national champion in the long jump and triple jump while Swarthmore senior Adria Retter took home gold in the discus to highlight Centennial Conference performances at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships from May 25-27.

A total of six CC athletes captured All-America honors with top-eight finishes, led by Kadiri and Retter. In the women's team standings, Johns Hopkins placed eighth with 26 points while Swarthmore (T-21st, 10 pts), Gettysburg (T-55th, 4 pts) and Ursinus (T-60th, 3 pts) also earned team points. On the men's side, Haverford secured eight points to place in a tie for 34th.

MIT won the men's team championship with 60.5 points, while Wisconsin-La Crosse took the women's title with 67.5 points.

Kadiri stole the show once again at the championships as she continues to re-write the Johns Hopkins, Centennial Conference and NCAA record books. The junior standout opened the national meet on Thursday with a long jump victory at 6.16 meters, the fifth-best performance in Division III history. She followed that up with an eighth-place finish in the heptathlon (4,889) to earn a spot on the podium and All-America honors. Kadiri then closed out the championship with another individual gold in the triple jump (13.21m), smashing the six-year-old NCAA record by 0.21 meters. She broke the national record of 13.00m with her second jump (13.05m) but then put the record, and the title, comfortably in her pocket with a jump of 13.21 on her last jump. In fact, four of Kadiri's five jumps would have secured her the national championship as the second-place finisher turned in a 12.45m.

Kadiri has now won four individual titles at the NCAA Outdoor Championships and boasts three titles at the NCAA Indoor Championships. Her seven individual national championships are the most by any woman in Centennial or Johns Hopkins history.

Swarthmore's also captured an national championship, winning the discus throw on Thursday with a conference record mark of 51.46 meters. Retter became the second event winner in program history and the first Swarthmore thrower to win a national title. Katie McMenamin was previously the program's lone Swarthmore national champion after capturing the 1500m crown in 2016. With that throw, the senior moved up to eighth all-time in Division III history in the event.

Joining Kadiri and Retter on the All-America podium with top-eight finishes included Haverford's Jamie Moreland in the 1500m (2nd; 3:45.76), JHU's Lauren Phillips in the 400 meters (4th; 55.96), Gettysburg's Holly Ferrera in the javelin (5th; 43.05m), and Ursinus' Isabelle Deal in the javelin (6th; 42.62m).

Moreland, Ferrera and Deal were each repeat All-Americans in their respective events.
