BALTIMORE, Md. - It was a long, yet, thrilling day of volleyball on Saturday in the Centennial Conference semifinals and when the dust settled, McDaniel and Haverford were left standing.
The Green Terror took out top-seeded Johns Hopkins, 25-17, 25-14, 18-25, 12-15, 15-12, while the Fords became the first team to overcome a 0-2 deficit to win a CC tourney match, downing Swarthmore, 16-25, 16-25, 25-18, 25-23, 18-16.
McDaniel is back in the final for the first time since losing to Haverford in straight sets in 2007. Haverford returns to the title tilt for the first time since 2009 and looks for its fifth Centennial title.
