Aston & Bliss Named AVCA First Team All-America; Eight from CC Honored

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Johns Hopkins' Natalie Aston and Simone Bliss were named First Team All-America to headline eight Centennial Conference volleyball players on the 2019 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) 39th annual All-America teams. 

In addition to Aston and Bliss, the Blue Jays' Louisa Kishton was selected to the second team. Eleni Panagopolous landed on the honorable mention list for JHU, giving the Blue Jays a conference-leading four All-America picks. 

Four others from the Centennial earned honorable mention honors, including Franklin & Marshall's Allison Franke and Grace Maggiore, McDaniel's Marlowe Embry, and Haverford's Sara Matsumura.
