LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Johns Hopkins captured its sixth NCAA Women's Cross Country Championship in program history while Dickinson finished ninth in a field of 32 teams at the national championship meet.

All six of the Blue Jays' titles have occurred since 2012. The championship is Hopkins' third in the last four years and sixth in the last eight years. The Blue Jays haven't finished lower than fourth since 2011 and their six NCAA Championships is now tied for second-most in Division III history behind SUNY Cortland's seven.

The Blue Jays title coupled with Dickinson's ninth-place finish marks the first time in conference history that two CC teams finished in the top 10 nationally.

Hopkins finished with 125 points, beating second-place finisher Washington University by 13 points. Washington University edged JHU by just one point at the 2018 national championship. Senior Samantha Levy led the way for JHU, finishing 17th, her best ever finish at nationals. Rebecca Grusby and Ariel Keklak placed 21st and 23rd, respectively, giving the Blue Jays three top-25 runners, the only team to accomplish that feat. The trio earned All-American honors for their efforts on Saturday afternoon.

Senior Kristin Meek and late-season standout freshman Katharine Priu rounded out the top-five for Hopkins with 41st and 76th-place finishes. Meek passed off five runners in the final stretch run, finishing the race in 22:14.9 while Priu moved up nine spots over the final 2K, running the muddy course in 22:39.7.

Dickinson's Isabel Cardi ran to All-America honors with a third-place individual finish, leading the Red Devils to ninth in the team standings. Cardi clocked a time of 21:19 to secure bronze. Senior Tessa Cassidy was the second Red Devil to cross the line, coming in at 22:27 to finish 58th overall. Classmate Sarah House came across at 22:36 to place 72nd.

Junior Emma Johnston clocked a time of 22:58 and sophomore Elaina Clancy had a time of 23:47. Lilianna Matala and Kylie Shalala finished with marks of 23:53 and 24:13, respectively for the Red Devils.
