D3Football.com Preseason All-America Team

Johns Hopkins junior wide receiver Harrison Wellmann and Muhlenberg senior quarterback Michael Hnatkowsky have been named to the D3Football.com Preseason All-America team. Wellmann was named to the second team, while Hnatkowsky garnered third team honors.

As a sophomore in 2019, Wellmann collected third team acccolades on the D3Football.com All-South Region team in addition to being a unanimous first team All-Centennial selection. Wellmann totaled 76 receptions for 1,174 yards and 13 touchdowns in 11 games. He also averaged 25.2 yards on 20 kickoff returns (20-505-1) and finished the season with 1,687 all-purpose yards. He was one of just two sophomore receivers in the nation to earn all-region honors in any region.

The 2019 Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Year and a first team All-South Region selection, Hnatkowsky already holds both the Muhlenberg and CC records for career touchdown passes (97). He owns the top two marks in program history for passing yards in a season (with a high of 3,640 in 2019) and passing touchdowns in a season (with a CC-record 46 in 2019). He also holds school records for completions and passing efficiency in a season and tied the mark of five touchdown passes in a game four times in 2019. Hnatkowsky has a career record of 30-5 as starting quarterback, leading the Mules to back-to-back CC championships and deep NCAA Tournament runs in 2018 and 2019.
