Franklin & Marshall College Diplomats

Head Coach Glenn Robinson

Add Henry Iba, Lou Henson, Lute Olson and Eddie Sutton to the list. Already the most victorious coach in NCAA Division III history, Glenn Robinson (West Chester '67) surpassed the aforementioned basketball legends in career wins. Robinson currently has 833 victories and in 2008-09, he became only the second Division III coach to reach 1,000 games coached. Last season, he picked his 24th 21-plus win season. Robinson has brought the Diplomats to the NCAA's Division III dance 23 times, most recently leading his squad to the 2012 Elite Eight. F&M has advanced to the round of 16 on 16 occasions and the round of eight in 10 postseasons.

2013 Outlook

Franklin & Marshall is the three-time defending Centennial champion but needs to find a replacement for Georgio Milligan, the school's all-time leading scorer and two-time CC Player of the Year. Gyokchyan, an honorable mention D3hoops.com preseason All-American, Salandra and Early are strong up front. Porter leads the backcourt, along with Beckford and Brewer, while much is expected from Lee. The Diplomats should return to the postseason, but the run depends on season-long improvement in the backcourt.

Mayser Center is the hub of Franklin & Marshall athletics. The building is home to the department’s administrative offices, locker rooms, Sports Medicine and rehabilitation rooms, and the equipment room. The building services over 600 athletes competing in 28 sports each academic year. Built in 1961, the complex has seen its share of history.  21 conference championships have been earned inside of its walls, while 50 athletes have been labeled All-Americans on its courts.
