McDaniel College Green Terror

Head Coach Kevin Curley

Curley (Penn State '94) enters his sixth season at the helm of the Green Terror after a successful first five campaigns. After spending nine seasons as an assistant coach at Colgate, Curley has guided McDaniel to 63 wins and three Centennial Conference (CC) playoff berths – the program’s first since 1995. The Green Terror shot out of the gate, winning Curley’s first six games as mentor – the best start for the program since 1962-63. It was the first winning season in 23 seasons and the first 15-win campaign since 1982-83. After a 15-11 debut season, Curley guided his squad to a program-record 18 wins for an encore. The Green Terror finished second in the 2008-09 CC standings and made its first-ever appearance in the conference semifinals. For his team's performance, Curley was named the conference’s 2008-09 Coach of the Year.

2013 Outlook

McDaniel has been a contender for the Conference playoffs since Curley took over at the helm and 2013 will be no different. Merlo, Rudd and Perry comprise the backocurt, while Pupelis is a quality big man. But the Terror is not deep up front and that could hurt down the stretch run to the playoffs.

The Gill Center is the home of Green Terror basketball.
