Ray Yagloski, Johns Hopkins (Sr, 133, Tunkhannock, Pa.) - Yagloski advanced to his first-ever tournament final with three wins by fall at the New Standard Invitational. He lost in the championship bout to Brockport's Andy Layman, 5-2.

Ryan O'Boyle, McDaniel (Soph, 133, North Redding, Mass.) -O'Boyle won the 133-pound title at the Petrofes Invitational. He began the tourney with a 94-second fall and posted a pair of majors to reach the final. In the title bout, O'Boyle edged Mount Union's Jeremy Border, 2-1.

Sam Fry, Merchant Marine (Sr, 184, Sturgs, Mich.) -Fry finished third at the New Standard Invitational, dropping his opening bout before reeling off four straight victories. He defeated Liam Korbul of Ithaca, 5-3, for the bronze.

Jaryd Frank, Muhlenberg (Fr, 125, Easton, Pa.) - Fresh off the cross country season, Frank finished fourth at the Petrofes Tournament in his first collegiate event. His two losses came to the sixth-ranked wrestler in D-III at 125.

Patrick Sheehan, New York University (Jr, 184, Honolulu, Hawaii) - Sheehan decked his opponent in 1:50 to lift the Bobcats past Hunter, 29-14. He is ranked 10th nationally at 184 by the NWCA.

Daniel Manganaro, Ursinus (Jr, 184, Horseheads, N.Y.) - Manganaro finished second at 184 at the Petrofes Tournament. His quest to the final began with a pin but ended with an overtime loss to Josh Thompson of Messiah, 8-6.

Centennial Notebook

Stevens opened the Conference dual schedule with a 25-7 victory over New York U. in the "Grapple at the Garden" at Madison Square Garden. Junior 149 Mike Polizzi (Montville, N.J.) tallied a 13-2 major decision to lead the way for the Ducks. The announced attendance at the event was more than 8,000.
