Crew won the 149-pound weight class at the Jim Crytzer Memorial Invitational on Saturday by posting a perfect 4-0 overall record. He won each of his first three matches by fall, defeating Austin Bailey of Kent State-Tuscawaras in 1:27, Caden Dalton of Ferrum in 3:45 and Lane Householder of Kent State-Tuscawaras in 1:23. He then posted a 6-2 victory over Collin Saunders of Ferrum in the Championship match. Saunders entered the weekend ranked second in Division III in the 149-pound weight class. As a team, the 22nd-ranked Generals finished second behind Ferrum in the eight-team event. For the season, Crew claims an 18-5 overall record with 12 pins, one shy of the school record he set last season.
