Women's Swimming - Release #10

Centennial Conference Outstanding Performances for the week ending February 6.

Carson Gannon, Dickinson (Fr, Morristown, N.J. / Morristown Beard)
Gannon turned in two strong performances last week, earning five wins in two meets. She captured wins in the 500 (5:22.58) and 1000 (11:03.38) free events at Swarthmore, adding a third as the lead leg of the winning 400 free relay (3:46.54). Gannon added wins in the 200 free (2:00.36) and the 200 free relay (1:46.79) at Gettysburg on Wednesday.
Krista Hollingsworth, Franklin & Marshall (So. Oakland, Md. / South Garrett)
Hollingsworth won one individual event, and was a member of a winning relay, to help the Diplomats stay unbeaten in the Centennial Conference with a win over Gettysburg. She won the 50 free (25.12), the 400 medley relay (4:08.06) and took second in the 200 back (2:13.87).
Caroline Coolidge, Gettysburg (So, South Windsor, Conn. / Kingswood-Oxford)
Coolidge won two individual events in a win over Dickinson, taking both the 200 IM, 100 free and swimming on the winning 200 free relay team. She also won the 200 IM and helped the 400 free relay team to a victory in a loss at Franklin & Marshall.
Rebecca Teng, Swarthmore (Fr, New York, N.Y. / Bronx H.S. of Science)
Teng took first in the 200 IM, 200 breaststroke, and was a member of the first place Swarthmore "A" relay team to lead the Garnet to a 107-98 win over Dickinson. Teng finished the 200 IM in a time of 2:14.64 - nearly 2 seconds ahead of the next competitor - and the 200 breast in a season-best time of 2:32.55, which was the third-fastest in the Conference this season.
