Women's Swimming Honor Roll
Meredith Davis, Bryn Mawr (Sr, Charleston, WV/George Washington HS)
In her four individual races on the week, Meredith posted the fastest time en route to four gold medals - two in the 50 free and two in the 100 butterfly. Her fastest time of the week was 25.80 in the 50 free and a 1:01.82 in the 100 butterfly.
Caroline Brennan, Dickinson (Soph, Madison, NJ/Madison)
Brennan turned in a pair of strong performances over the weekend. She was a triple-winner at Bryn Mawr on Saturday, touching the wall first in the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly with times of 1:58.49 and 1:03.65. She joined the winning free relay, clocking a time of 3:54.54. The Devils posted a pair of wins over the host Owls and Juniata. On Sunday, the Devils suffered a 148-96 setback to Division II Bloomsburg University. Brennan won the 1000 freestyle (11:01.02) and placed third in the 500 with a time of 5:25.52.
Marie Gingher, Gettysburg (Fr, Boalsburg, PA/State College)
Gingher won two individual events and swam on a winning relay team, helping the Bullets defeat previously-undefeated Ursinus 147-115. She captured both the 100-breaststroke (1:09.23) and the 200-breaststroke (2:31.21) while swimming the third leg of the winning 400-freestyle relay (3:46.76) as Gettysburg improved to 6-0 and 4-0 in the Centennial Conference.
Caroline Sussman, McDaniel, Fr, Washington, DC/Spring Ridge
Sussman led the Green Terror in a 116-91 loss at St. Mary's (Md.) with three wins, touching first in the 100 and 200 freestyle events, individually. The freshman took the 200 free in 2:00.48 to move into seventh place on the program's all-time list. Her time of 55.69 seconds moved her into eighth place on the 100 free list. She also anchored the 200 medley relay to a victory.
Kate Wiseman, Swarthmore (So., Nashville, TN/Harpeth Hall)
Wiseman won three individual events for the Garnet at the Rowan Invitational - outpacing the field in all three short-to-middle distance freestyle events, winning the 50 (25.42), 100 (54.95), and 200 (1:58.45).
Corinne Capodanno, Ursinus (Fr, Claymont, Del./Padua Academy)
Capodanno won three individual events at Gettysburg on Saturday, winning the 200 yard freestyle at 1:56.65, the 100 fly at 1:00.52 and the 50 free at 25.17.
Malena Lair Ferrari, Ursinus (Jr, Bethesda, Md./The German School)
Melena Lair Ferrari was a triple-winner at Gettysburg on Saturday. Lair Ferrari won the 100 back at 1:00.18, the 200 back at 2:09.22 and the 200 IM at 2:14.50.
Allison Kvien, Washington (Sr, Mechanicsville, MD/Chopticon)
Kvien won the 1000 freestyle in 11:51.49 in the Shorewomen's 123-79 win over Bryn Mawr Friday.
