    Annette Hunt-Shepherd has been named head coach of the Gettysburg College softball program according to Director of Athletics David Wright.

    The 2013 Centennial Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll recognizes 402 students for their performance in the classroom and as a member of a varsity team. 75 students also earned All-Centennial recognition.

    Washington College snapped a 6-6 with five runs in the top half of the ninth inning to down Utica, 11-6, in the first round of the NCAA Division III Softball Tournament at Kostrinsky Field on the campus of Ithaca College.

    Ursinus 1B Allison Pfrommer was named the Player of the Year, while McDaniel's Caroline Brehm and Muhlenberg's Kelsey Jones shared Pitcher of the Year honors as the All-Centennial softball team was announced Wednesday. Gettysburg freshman OF Steph Zengel was named Rookie of the Year.
